Exchange & Lync OWA integration certificate Name issue

Hi,

i'm trying to integrate Lync 2010 with Exchange 2010 SP2 OWA IM , i followed this post.

and faced some issues, so i followed this troubleshooting  post

and finally it's working,

But something I’m not understanding I’ve to put the same Exchange Server name in the trusted application pool in Lync topology builder this is the only way to get successful OWA IM integration.

Now the ask: if I’ve CAS array or Alias Name like Mail.Domain.Com Instead of CAS-01.Domain.Local.

any advice
