C# Programming: How to monitor the new receiving Email from the Exchange Server and to get the Information of the Email?

I face a question, but I don't know how to solve it. I need to code a C# Program to monitor the new receiving Email from the Exchange Server, and get the information, such as the subject and receiver of the Email, and I need to judge whether the receiver connect to Exchange Server by Outlook, or not.

I googled, and found that may MAPI can do this. But I'm not very sure. I don't know how to use this.

So, could you tell me whether the MAPI can do this or not? And could you give me some samples of using MAPI?
